Evolution Mail and Calendar: How do I change the defa...
Last modified: 2012-02-02 11:56:31 UTC
How do I change the default 'Delete' behaviour so that an open email window will close and return to the Inbox (rather than open the next email). This preference has been user-selectable ever since the very first version of Outlook (version "97") over a decade ago. I have searched and searched online to see if there might be a configuration file tweak I could make but to no avail. Please add this selection in the GUI and/or configuration file. Thank you! Distribution: Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) Gnome Release: 2.22.0 2008-03-17 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0

This is actually a duplicate of bug 2209999 . How typical, a feature available in the very first version of Outlook back in 1997, reported here in 2002, but still not acted on now in 2012 :-( *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 220999 ***
(In reply to comment #2) > How typical, reported here in 2002, but still not acted on now in 2012 :-( How typical, open source does not have unlimited manpower but still accepts your patches! ;-) Maybe check the "No obligations" section of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html ...
