I would like to have at least the option of "close on delete" when viewing an email.

I often have several messages open at the same time and it is awkward to close then hunt down the same message to delete it.

I'd like this too. Although, to the second paragraph above: isn't it easier just to delete and then close?

Message window does not close on delete.

As per http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244840 , the behavior was to close the email window.

Would it be possible to add this feature back, or with options as shown below

"After moving or deleting an open item:

- Open the Previous item
- Open the next item
- Return to Inbox

0) Wouldn't it be better if this wasn't an option but just the (default and only) behaviour?

1) What happens now if a message is deleted when it is previewed in another Mail window? I suppose it will be deleted (an the preview moved top another message) if that happens.

In current evolution (2.25.91), when you delete a message which is opened in a window, it will show the next message, it won't close the window.
