Description Alexander van Loon 2008-03-22 15:44:43 UTC
Epiphany supports spell checking, but it is disabled by default and it can only be enabled by changing preferences in about:config according to bug #121711. Please enable spell checking by default, it probably useful for the majority of users and other browsers like Safari and Firefox also have it enabled by default.

Other information:
Besides enabling it by default, it should also be possible to disable it and change the language for the spelling checker in the "Preferences dialog. Please see bug #523867 and bug #431002 for these issues.

Agreed, but we can't just enable the spell checker when it's not completely functional.

This depends on a few other bugs, I'm adding them to the dependencies.
