Description Sven J. 2007-11-22 18:42:50 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The preset "Name:" field gets cleared, when you use bookmarks.

This behavior is unexpected and annoying.

Steps to reproduce:
1. If you opened a file, for example a .pdf file with evince that was attached in an email.
2. Then you want to use "save as" in evince (or whatever application uses the common file chooser), to store the file on your computer.
3. The file chooser dialog opens and the "Name:" field is preset with the filename. Now, navigating through your folders is possible and the "Name:" field does not change.
4. But, if you click on your bookmarks in the left pane the "Name:" field is cleared.

Actual results:
The preset "Name:" field gets cleared.

Expected results:
The field should remain its preset value.

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
happy hacking!
