Description giovanni 2007-11-13 13:50:58 UTC
In GIMP 2.2 every change in Levels, curves, hue/saturation, colorize, ect, was immediately highlighted by the histogram change (upgrading in real time) even before confirming with OK. This was a very useful feature to finetune the changes.

In GIMP 2.4 this “real time” histogram seems unavailable; to see the new histogram you have to confirm the levels, curves, etc, changes. If anything is wrong you have to Undo.

I tried to explore Preferences, but in no way could fix this. Is it a bug?

IMO this is bug #494049.

People could at least check for a new release and read the NEWS file to see if their problem has been fixed before filing a bug report...
