Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-10-21 12:39:36 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153882

"It's nice that Evince remembers most of the preferences I set, but some printing options should not be remembered.

For instance, if I need to print multiple copies of a document, that doesn't mean that the next time I will also need to print multiple copies of another document. Same goes for the orientation: printing one specific document in landscape doesn't mean I want to print all subsequent documents in landscape.

It happened quite a few times to me to waste some paper because Evince kept the same, bad settings from the previous job. Having to check all printing options each time, just to make sure that everything is fine, is quite annoying. I should have to check the printing options only when I have specific needs, which doesn't happen so often."

I've seen this too...

A few days ago I printed a couple pages (55-56) in the middle of a 300+
page
pdf. Today I tried printing a 3 page pdf and nothing was happening.
After a few tries I noticed the previously selected 55-56 option was
still on. I received no error messages or warnings indicating I was
printing non-existent pages.

Thanks
-Chad

It should be fixed in svn trunk now. Print settings that are specific to the document (page, ranges, n_copies, etc.) are now saved per document.

Thanks for reporting.
