I printed a 3mb PDF to file, it takes something like 30 seconds for the output PDF file to appear.  Would be nice to show a progress bar or something.  Not necessarily a dialog.  Something like a bar at the bottom, like the search bar...  May help to add stanard widgets for it in Gtk+.

Agree, we are currently discussing this lack of feedback in bug #480964 too.

I also miss a progress bar when printing from evince. Something like progress bar shown in epiphany would be fine :-)
