Description Germán Poo-Caamaño 2007-09-25 19:26:38 UTC
This happen with main-menu and menubar, I guess 'menu applet' component refers both of them, because it's a matter of look & feel difference.

If /apps/nautilus/preferences/desktop_is_home_dir has been set to True, it means that Home directory is the same than Desktop. So, it's reduntant having both of them as 'Places' when they refers the same thing.

The expected behavior is a menu consistent with the preference choosen for nautilus.

This issue is related to bug 144500.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-applets/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
