Description John Russell 2007-09-04 14:25:07 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I found a gstreamer pipeline for ripping VBR mp3s and wanted to add it to the list of Preffered Formats in the Library tab of Preferences, but when I add it it does not appear in the dropdown options for Preffered Format.

Steps to reproduce:
1. click the Edit button to get the "Edit GNOME Audio Profiles" dialog
2. create a new profile using the pipeline audio/x-raw-int,rate=44100,channels=2 ! lame name=enc mode=0 vbr-quality=4 ! id3v2mux
3. Make sure the "Active" checkbox is checked
4. Close the dialog

Actual results:
The new profile does not appear in the dropdown of Preffered Formats in RB even after a restart.

Expected results:
The new profile would appear in the dropdown allowing me to select it to import cds using this format profile.

Does this happen every time?
yes
