GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 464912
Locking an applet on the panel should disable remove from panel
Last modified: 2011-03-29 05:24:25 UTC
Distribution: Debian 4.0 Package: gnome-panel Severity: enhancement Version: GNOME2.14.3 2.14.x Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: Locking an applet on the panel should disable remove from panel Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Bugzilla-Version: 2.14.x Description: It would be a nice if the locking of a applet would also disable the remove from panel in the same fashion as the move. It seems to make sense to me that if I lock the applet I don't want to remove it or move it until I unlock it. ------- Bug created by bug-buddy at 2007-08-09 03:44 -------

I agree (for whatever it's worth). https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/496943

Locked has been removed in 3.0, and with the new way to edit panels, this is really no more an issue, I think.
