Description Jeff Schroeder 2007-07-29 04:37:47 UTC
OpenMoko was nice enough to release code demoing iphone-like kinetic scrolling
in a listview. It would be nice if you could do this in a large inbox email listing.

Demo:
http://chrislord.net/files/mokofingerscroll.ogg

Code:
http://svnweb.openmoko.org/trunk/src/target/OM-2007.2/libraries/libmokoui2/libmokoui/moko-finger-scroll.c?rev=2545&view=markup
Comment 1 André Klapper 2007-07-29 13:36:21 UTC
sigh... is that really useful, or just cool and confusing...? :-)
Comment 2 Jeff Schroeder 2007-12-24 22:00:14 UTC
It is actually useful for people that use tablet pcs or some other touchscreen interface.

Evince committed support for this and the patch is here:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=101557&action=view

So it isn't _just_ eyecandy

Comment 5 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:12:01 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
