what is this? i see no such feature in mozilla, middle mouse pastes a link.

Comment 2 mark krischer 2005-05-20 06:40:10 UTC
in firefox go to about:config, type "middle" and look for
"middlemouse.content.loadURL" and set it to false. the middle mouse button now
provides smooth scroll just like it does in windows. this capability is
available in firefox, mozilla and thunderbird on linux. and once you get used
to it, it's quite nice.

in order to destroy the UI component (as discussed with jpr, dobey, and nags),
changing component and reassigning. adding usability keyword.
developers, please reassign appropriately if necessary.

Comment 5 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:12:07 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
