GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 43840
Error clicking on links in "Nautilus Manual"
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Links within the Nautilus Manual are broken. Clicking on a link pops up an error dialog: "Cannot display <file> because Nautilus cannot handle items of this unknown type." Resolution can be achieved by converting everything over to SGML so that the right browser is used and adding nautilus manual hierarchy to the help sidebar (see bug 43439). ------- Additional Comments From sullivan@eazel.com 2000-10-17 13:53:53 ---- I'm not sure how to try to reproduce this problem. There is nothing called Nautilus Manual currently in the software that I can see, so the sentence "Links within the Nautilus Manual are broken" confuses me. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? I can click on links in the Help Contents sidebar panel and the pages show up displayed as HTML. Maybe that isn't working for Brian? Maybe Brian is using some older version of Nautilus? ------- Additional Comments From arlo@workthatmouse.com 2000-10-18 15:06:15 ---- This isn't a bug I can do anything about. :-) ------- Additional Comments From jfleck@inkstain.net 2000-10-19 18:54:10 ---- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 43756 *** ------- Additional Comments From mjs@noisehavoc.org 2000-11-05 20:45:34 ---- Helping Bud prioritize undecided bugs.
