What were you doing when the application crashed?
Kopieren eines 120 KB großen Word-Dokuments vom linux-Rechner per Samba-Share auf einen Windows98-Rechner im LAN. 
Bis zum Absturz dauerte es einige Sekunden (mind. 10), die Übertragung hätte längst erledigt sein müssen. Ähnliche Probleme treten beim Upload mit gFTP auf, nicht aber beim Download.
