crash in Galeon Web Browser: Very recent version of E...
Last modified: 2007-03-27 01:24:20 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? Very recent version of Edgy, amd64. Many instances of Galeon web browser open - some had multiple tabs. One instance of text editor. The automatic software update was in progress. One instance of Ubuntu "Places" file manager (Nautlius?) open. PC has been on for 2 or 3 days. First thing this morning, I went to download the updates which were for "eVolution Groupware", went away, came back 15 mins later to find this crash. You guys are doing a great job. Suggestion; It would be really handy to have a "one stop shop" for all updates including; i) 64 bit programs for Ubuntu ii) 32 bit programs for Ubuntu iii) debian programs iv) linux programs v) user installed (and possibly compiled programs) vi) programs under WINE vii) programs under BOCHs, and othe virtual machines. viii) option to automatically make a menu link for commandline programs - with option to manually or automaically start the program with the required user rights or status (root).
