See bug 41063 for Arlo's design of what should be in the Desktop context menu.

The Change Desktop Background menu item would bring up the desktop-background
capplet, a la gmc. However, see bug 41047 about trying to get Nautilus's
background to use the "real" gnome desktop background. If we can't fix 1047 then
it wouldn't make sense to make a menu item that brings up the desktop-background
capplet.

If we solve this problem by making the Nautilus desktop work with the normal
settings, then this should be done. Otherwise we don't want to do it at all.

Verified fixed; the feature has been implemented, and selecting the menu item
now opens the appropriate capplet, from which the Nautilus background can be
selected.

(John, if there's additional testing that you think should be done, could you
