Description Darin Adler 2001-09-10 00:33:35 UTC
Currently you get a white background by default like any other window.

The more I think about this, the harder it sounds to me. Because the existing
desktop code outside Nautilus can't be completely ignored if we want the desktop
to look right when Nautilus is not managing the desktop. But the existing UI in
the "Desktop Background" capplet offers a completely different approach, with
some options we don't yet support in Nautilus, and no "tiled image" option.

This is tricky and hard, but Mike can handle it!
