It would be cool if you could apply a texture to a brush, so that the brush could be more "dirty" when you are doing digital paintings. Pluss add some controll fuctions to the brush texture thing.

this feature has certainly been asked before, and with due time, we certainly will want to add such things. 

At the time we get to experimenting with it, we certainly will need some more feedback (and, if you can get them, more coding hands :-) )
