Here are a couple GIMP features that I miss when using f-spot to edit my photos:

-first, when I zoom in the picture and it becomes bigger than the window I have to resort to the scrollbars to scroll it around. I keep finding myself trying to middle-click and drag the picture to scroll it. Since the middle button is not in use right now, could this feature be implemented?

-second, GIMP has a scrollbox on pictures' bottom left corner that turns out really useful to scroll big images. Could f-spot borrow it?
