Description Luca Ferretti 2007-02-22 15:11:40 UTC
Please describe the problem:
It seems there is a problem downloading the cover for the album "Greatest Hits II" from Queen. The downloaded cover is for the album "Baseball Greatest Hits II Let's Play" :-(

Steps to reproduce:
1. Put a track from Queen - Greatest Hits II (or rename a fake mp3/ogg using those values for Artist and Album tags
2. Play the track, to download the cover
3. look the cover are

Actual results:
See attached screenshot

Expected results:
Show the proper cover

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
Of course the problem is in album title parsing and matching on amazon.com

A little search on amazon.com shows[1] that this CD is labeled as "Greatest Hits, Vol. 2". However in [1] you can see there is an entry for an audio cassette labeles "Greatest Hits II", maybe the same grabbed by MusicBrainz.org[2]

The best solution could be update the searching algorithm to recognize roman numbers (II <-> 2) and to perfrom a best matching based on artist name tool.

Oh, the wrong album really exists. It's here [3]

Another testcase: "Chill Out" from John Lee Hooker

Another wrong cover fetched from the net :-(

  Album: "Chill Out"
Artist (on my files): "John Lee Hooker and Santana"
Artist (on amazon.com): "John Lee Hooker"

Of course the data stored in my tags seems wrong, but...
