GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 405447
Mouse cursor not changed after deleting a file while using "single click to activate items"
Last modified: 2011-03-31 17:52:04 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/83228 "Binary package hint: nautilus I have encountered this bug in Dapper as well as Feisty Herd 3. When using "single click to activate items" in Nautilus, the mouse icon changes to a hand if it is on top of an item. If you use the Delete key to delete an item while the mouse is hovering over it, the item disappears but the mouse icon stays as a hand until it is hovered over another item, after which it returns to its normal state. Steps to reproduce: 1. Switch to "single click to activate items" mode in Nautilus. (Edit->Preferences->Behaviour->Single click to activate items) 2. Create an empty file. 3. Select the file by dragging a selection window over it. 4. Hover the mouse on top of the file so that the mouse icon changes to a hand. 5. Press the delete key on the keyboard to delete the file. The mouse icon will still be a hand until it is rolled over other items in Nautilus."
