Please describe the problem:
when i try to open the path \behörden\xxx.xls via a windows link file(.lnk) then gnumeric tells me: no such file or directory. when i try to open the file with the "open" dialogue in gnumeric it is working.

Steps to reproduce:
1. make a link file in windows with a path including german ä,ö,ü (ae,oe,ue)
2. click it
3. 

Actual results:
it occures the textbox: no such file or directory


Expected results:
the file should open

Does this happen every time?
yes
