Description Matteo Zandi 2007-01-07 09:54:49 UTC
Please describe the problem:
my cpu can go from 800 MHz to 2000 MHz, when this happens the width of the applet increases so that all the other applets next to it are shifted a bit on the left. This is actually not a big problem, but i think it is rather important for gnome to be recognized as a mature desktop

Steps to reproduce:
1. put your cpu manually to '2Ghz'
2. put some other applets right next to cpufreq applet
3. put you cpu manually to '800Mhz'

Actual results:
the width of the cpufreq applet increases and the other applets netx to it shift right a bit

Expected results:
I would expect cpufreq to have a fixed witdh wich is determined my the maximum lenght of the string 'frequency'

Does this happen every time?
yes
