crash in Terminal: Hitting CTRL-D to close ...

Version: 2.16.1 What were you doing when the application crashed? Hitting CTRL-D to close my windows (3 tabs open). Used CTRL-D to log out of an ssh session, was hitting it again to close the tab. I hit CTRL-D very rapidly.
