Description Jean-Denis Vauguet 2006-12-03 10:46:01 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If one has opened a folder, then stepped back, deleted this folder, the folder's name remains in the location bar (button-like). If one hit the folder's button, an error is prompted. The button won't disappear from the location bar, though.

Exemple:
http://public.nonelse.net/bug/gnome/Bug_deleted_folder_remains_in_location_bar.png
http://public.nonelse.net/bug/gnome/Bug_deleted_folder_error.png
The "2006-10-22--13.58-11" folder was created by a device, visited then deleted.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new folder anywhere.
2. Open this folder.
3. Come back to the parent folder.
4. Delete the previously created folder (it disappears from the main window but remains on the location bar).
5. Hit the location bar's button named after the now deleted folder.

Actual results:
An error is prompted and the folder remains in the location bar.

Expected results:
The button named after the folder should be deleted from the location bar when the folder is deleted from Nautilus main window.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Hi Gene,

Thanks for the tips, I'm happy to see a former eazel employee back in business on nautilus. :)

Oh, sorry, I searched for a duplicate before posting this, but I did not found anything (wrong keywords I guess).
