Description Stanislav Brabec 2006-12-01 12:40:27 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
Mailer hangs while formatting message after clicking to mail in summary:
1. Status bar shows "Formatting message" forever
2. It is possible to click to another mails, and even these mails are then marked as read, but they are never displayed
3. CPU usage is 0%
4. Clicking to another folder displays summary, but it is not possible to view any mail - "Formatting message" is still displayed
5. Problem occurs most often on HTML mails and spams
6. It is not easily reproducible, next time the same mail displays correctly.
7. Quitting Evolution greys all areas, but not quit - "Formatting message" is still displayed.
8. Problem appears several times a week.

It is not possible to restart Evolution in this state after using Kill applet from gnome-panell. evolution --force-shutdown helps.
