Can you still reproduce this problem or has it been fixed since?
This happens every now and again. Sometimes even just logging in to the system and starting evolution up. definitely not fixed yet in a stable release.
Another crash trace in the same situation just now: Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.12.6 Gnome Release: 2.16.2 2006-11-27 (Gentoo) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 Memory status: size: 104873984 vsize: 0 resident: 104873984 share: 0 rss: 23154688 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1169112995 rtime: 0 utime: 114 stime: 0 cutime:104 cstime: 0 timeout: 10 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution-2.8' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.
