Description Wouter Bolsterlee (uws) 2006-10-23 19:47:29 UTC
This is a tracker bug for all bugs that somehow relate to issues solved by newer GTK+ versions. Please add any such bugs to the depends field of this bug.

From muine TODO we can pick this:
o Ditch ColoredCellRendererPixbuf when we use Gtk 2.8
o Ditch CellRendererText once Gtk# supports Gtk 2.6 API
o Create message dialogs ourselves, not through glade
Once we have Gtk 2.6 support in Gtk#
o Use new Gtk about dialog
Once we have Gtk 2.6 support in Gtk#
o Set Window.IconName on windows
Once we have Gtk 2.6 support in Gtk#
o Use stock Gtk pixbuf colouring
Once we have Gtk 2.6 support in Gtk# and a new Gtk release
o Remove EllipsizingLabel and CellRendererText hack classes
Once we have Gtk 2.6 support in Gtk#

this afaik it's all supported by gtk 2.8

Wouter let's move muine to gtk-sharp 2.10 or 2.12, clean all this code and then fix bug #339820.

Sure, if you want to start with small, easy to review, incremental patches, that would be great :)
Comment 4 Akhil Laddha 2011-07-07 05:57:22 UTC
muine development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few years now. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing all the bugs as WONTFIX. Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
