Same problem here, and after the crash the problem raises again every time you select the trash folder.

Before the crash, following error popup appears (select trash folder and then inbox folder):

**
Error while Generating message list.

Error executing search expression: Unknown type in parse tree: -1277160976:
(and (match-all (and (not (system-flag "deleted")) (not (system-flag "junk"))))

Comment 2 Guillermo Gutiérrez Herrera 2006-10-12 07:18:40 UTC
Today, this is fixed in current edgy (I wonder if this bug was distro specific). Thank you anyway.
Comment 3 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-10-13 16:03:29 UTC
Guillermo, according to your description and the fact you can not reproduce it any more indetifies this crash either as bug 360237 or bug 359236.

Juan, your one definitely is bug 360237.

Fixes for both these crashes have been backported to Ubuntu packages. Updating to the latest available version evolution 2.8.1-0ubuntu2 should fix both. Not an Ubuntu specific issue, though.

Thanks, dudes. :)

Just in case, installing debugging packages [1] always is a good idea, cause it results in way more useful stacktraces.

Also, please feel free to report any further bugs you find. Thanks!

[1] debugging packages for evolution, evolution-data-server and gtkhtml,
plus debugging packages for some basic GNOME libs. More details can
