Description A 2006-10-03 22:36:11 UTC
when I enter a formula and I would like to over-write some part of it with a cell (or range) I select. I should be able to highlight part or the formula and click on a cell. the cell reference I click should overwrite what is highlighted. instead gnumeric prepends the clicked cell and I have to then delete the stuff i had highlighted manually. hope that makes sense, thanks !

You can do that in the formula entry field - the one between the tool bars and the grid. Or do I misundersand you?

Right. Now I see what you mean. I'm reopening.
Comment 5 Jean Bréfort 2009-11-29 10:43:54 UTC
Clicking on B1 now just selects B1.
