I am not able to get this crash with 2.7.90. Is autocompletion working for you? I mean when you try to type first e-mail id does it get autocompleted? or is it the case where you are trying to send mails to the user's who are not in any of your address books? Also which version of evolution you are using?

Hi there, my bug 371890 (which has been marked as a duplicate) refers. I installed Ubuntu Edgy Eft, and upgraded it, so it was using Evolution 2.8.1. I have since gone back to Ubuntu Dapper LTS, as this seriously affected my productivity. regards Marc
