GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 346642
Changes in frequence text change the width of the applet
Last modified: 2006-07-05 15:07:01 UTC
The "CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor 2.14.2" offers the option to show the current value of the processor frequency, either in MHz or in a percentage. Due to this, the width of the applet does not say contast and you get situations that the other nearby applets are shifted to the left and then to the right depending on the frequency value. This becomes annoying. It should be better if the applet could estimate the max width it will take and pre-allocate it. Or resize the font so that it fits in a fixed box area.
