Description Simos Xenitellis 2006-06-28 17:32:40 UTC
When creating a filter in Evolution, one can create a folder on the fly so that the e-mails will move to this new folder.

In this process of folder creation, there are some usability issues; the newly created folder is not selected and the user is required to select again. This happens in two occasions.

In Evolution Mail,
1. Select an e-mail from the Inbox
2. Right-click and select to create a filter.
3. Choose to select a folder to send the e-mails to
4. At this point, you have a folder tree. We want to create a new sub folder and the intuitive action is to select the parent folder before hitting to create the subfolder. Select the folder that will be the parent folder.
5. Choose to create a folder. In the new dialog box you are required to select the parent folder; Evolution should use the folder selected earlier, if one was selected.
6. Once you create the new folder by clicking ok, the intuitive action is that the newly created folder is selected by default. It's more likely that the use wants to send the e-mails to the newly created folder.

I think this usability back is a regression as I was able to have this functionality in earlier versions of Evolution (I think 1.2/1.4???)
