Description Elijah Newren 2006-05-04 20:25:33 UTC
This will be a tracker bug about allowed actions and window-type handling (which actions we let pagers know to be working for the window, which buttons show up in the window decorations, which actions are available from our menu, whether we show the title of the window, etc.) There is some overlap with bug 155453.

90420 Refactor how allowed actions/states on windows work
94111 Clean up has_foo_func and related macros so we understand them
115247 _NET_WM_ALLOWED_ACTIONS doesn't match allowed actions
122640 Tasklist shows all actions as possible for minimized windows
159359 Utility windows are never and cannot be minimized
315910 DIALOG/UTILITY hints should place minimize buttons in windows
320673 allow me to maximize/minimize all windows

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/metacity/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
