Last modified: 2012-08-13 16:44:03 UTC
Please describe the problem: Changing from list view to symbol view after searching causes nautilus to search again. Same vice verca. Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information: I'm using only the Gnome 2.14 packages that are in Debian Unstable.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This bug report isn't very useful because it doesn't describe the bug well. If you have time and can still reproduce the bug, please read http://bugzilla.gnome.org/bug-HOWTO.html and add a more useful description to this bug.
Sorry, i thought it was clear. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a Nautilus window 2. Click on Search 3. Search for something 4. Wait until the search has finished 5. Change from list view to symbol view or from symbol view to list view Actual Results: It takes another 30 seconds (for me) to display the results. Expected Results: Immediate display the results without searching again. Other information: I searched on a 120 GiB fat partition.

Since Cosimo Cecchi confirmed this bug one-and-a-half years ago could someone update the status from NEW? ;) Also, this bug is reported on Launchpad at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/398420.
Still in 3.1.4.
