Steps to reproduce:
(1) Start dia, create new diagram.
(2) Open diagram prefs, uncheck "dynamic grid".
(3) Save diagram, exit dia.
(4) Restart dia, open diagram.

Expected result:
+ "dynamic grid" would still be unchecked in diagram prefs

Actual result:
- "dynamic grid" is checked and the feature is on.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

BTW: maybe next time you want to use bugzilla's search facility first, e.g.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?query=product:dia+grid

The dynamic grid setting as a global option properly persisted as such.
