GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 340021
Fullscreen mode useless for presentations
Last modified: 2006-04-28 13:44:56 UTC
There is a nice presentation tool called S5 that uses HTML+CSS+Javascript to clone PowerPoint in a web browser. You simply go to fullscreen mode... However there are UI elements that are still visible. Pressing S-C-t will remove the toolbar, which leaves the Leave Fullscreen button. How about hiding that button unless the mouse is being moved? That way when I give a presentation I can leave the mouse alone, the button disappears, and there are no more buttons on the screen. Or, shift-F11 for really I meant it fullscreen with no other UI, and only S-F11 to go back.
