Description Edward Hervey 2006-03-24 08:57:22 UTC
PiTiVi is aimed at being a GNome application, but a lot of people wish to use it on non-gnome systems (kde, xfce, macosx, ...).

This bug will keep track of all bugs that relate to bugs in non-gnome systems.
Comment 1 Edward Hervey 2006-03-24 09:01:35 UTC
maybe the system-dependent stuff (gnomevfs, gconf, ...) should be modular with a plugin system for each desktop environment.
Comment 2 Edward Hervey 2006-03-24 10:06:37 UTC
gnomevfs is no longer required

Remove dependency on gnomevfs python module, and use the gstreamer uri
	utilities instead (gst.element_make_from_uri, gst.uri_get_protocol,
	gst.uri_get_location)

No more blocker/dependency bugs around, let's close this.
