Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you provide us with one? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
Can confirm this problem for Gnome 2.12.1, Evolution 2.4.1, Ubuntu 5.10/AMD64. Unfortunately, I can't provide a stacktrace, see bug 321296.
I found out that this problem only occurs when there is a space between the adresses. Send to: "addr1@example.com,addr2@another.com" works, but "addr1@example.com, addr2@another.com" crashes.
Can you try getting one without bug-buddy? http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces#head-b4d479311f06c3c1de7b87af8b9ba83d718fe7f0
Created attachment 61498 [details] trace
Comment on attachment 61498 [details] trace hope it makes sense
Not sure exactly how useful that trace is, but at least there's a trace now. Reopening the bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash - it misses many debugging symbols. Anyway - there is a duplicate, so confirming.
Got the same problem. When I have some more time, I'll try to generate a better stacktrace.

i have tried reproducing this with edgy. No luck. It works well. Closing this.
