Description Jay Cummins 2006-03-10 12:46:18 UTC
I'm not sure if this behavior is intentional or not, but pressing the 'Delete'
key while editing text removes the entire text object instead of the char.
When editing text, you have to move ahead of the character (or select with the
mouse) and strike Backspace instead of being able to strike the Delete key.

This is a duplicate. It would be a help to us if you could please search the existing bug reports and mark this as a duplicate. (Dont have time to do it myself right now.)

It would help me if both of you would go to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/duplicates.cgi?product=dia
and identify or mark this as duplicate instead of
producing white noise ;)
[The time argument does not convince me when the
information is one click (bookmark?) away]

Time is an issue when you are stuck using dialup.

Your comments are not helpful or encouraging.

Neither are yours, that's my point ...
Comment 5 Jay Cummins 2006-03-13 12:51:17 UTC
I didn't mean to piss anyone off. This was my first time using a Bugzilla site and I incorrectly searched on the specific version instead of open bugs. When I didn't get a hit on the 'delete' issue, I submitted this bug. I apologize and I hope no one was killed because of my mistake.
