GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 328086
Error message mentioning firefox
Last modified: 2006-03-05 15:00:39 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #316563 +++ This bug has been opened here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15654 "Hi, I just browsed to this site: http://news.ft.com/cms/s/a57e987a-254a-11da-98dc-00000e2511c8.html and got this message from epiphany: "Firefox and secureads.ft.com cannot communicate securely because they have no common encryption algorithms." I don't understand this message, it must come from firefox and end directly in epiphany." I just saw this bug again (when the protocol is not known for instance like imts://). after discussion on #epiphany IRC channel, it seems some strings cannot be replaced.
The "Firefox and secureads.ft.com cannot communicate securely" string is now fixed. For the other string (to keep the 2 problem separate), we will use bug 333487 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 333487 ***
