Description m96 2006-01-21 14:05:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
if you want to import vcard (vcf file) eg. that was created from an other
application (openbc.com) and if this vcard contains non-ascii chars like "é" it
will break the import.

that means the import of this vcard element/entry will be imported only until
the first non-ascii char and this means on most cases not even the name will be
imported correctly into evolution.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open contact
2. file > import
3. follow the wizard and choose the vcf file
4. click finish
5. see your import

Actual results:
see description

Expected results:
that the entry is correctly imported with all it's elements

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
the vcard version is 2.1
eg.

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:2.1
N:Surname;André;;
FN:André Surname
SORT-STRING:surname
....
