GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 325978
Release 1.1
Last modified: 2006-11-20 14:38:15 UTC
This worked so well the last time..
The release will be approximatly at 6th of March.
About time we release something new now, just have to get some form of linux to work on my computer first!
Make sure this time you use "make distcheck" to generate the tar.gz for version 1.0.1. Just type 'make distcheck' after increasing the version number in configure.ac and use the resulting tar.gz file.
Just to pre-inform you: The crontab parsing is buggy. I will file a separate bug about it tomorrow, just need to find some time to sum things up. Originally reported to Fedora BTS: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=191714

Did this release happen? The latest in the sf.net file release system is 1.0.0 and there's no gnome sources/ directory for this project.
No it didn't, this bug is a tracker up to the next release showing what bugs the release are depending on, aswell as providing a place for the discussion for the next release.
Gnome-schedule 1.0.1 has been released, a test version before 1.1. New features: Datafiles for both at and crontab in $HOME/.gnome/gnome-schedule/... New crontab parse ported from vixie-crons source $ cvs co -r RELEASE-1-0-1 or http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gnome-schedule/gnome-schedule-1.0.1.tar.gz?download (http://sf.net/projects/gnome-schedule/) - gaute
Hail Think we are getting ready for 1.1, don't know how many tested 1.0.1, but it seems to work fine. Will do the main release next week. Would be nice to see if you could have a last check on how things are working. proposal: == Gnome-schedule 1.1 released == Gnome-schedule is a grapical frontend for the 'crontab' and 'at' daemons in linux. It configures when tasks are going to be launched, at a specified time or regulary following a spcified pattern. Gnome-schedule then lists all the tasks in a list with a text readable for humans on when the tasks are going to be executed. It also supports templates for saving tasks that you often schedule. For instance; virus scan, compile a kernel in the middle of the night and so on. It has the possibilities to add an icon and a title to the tasks so that they are easier to keep track of. *New features* Using datafiles for saving title and icon data for both at and crontab, this solves a lot of problems with comments and variables Crontab is using a parser ported from the vixie-cron source Several bugfixes *Homepage* http://gnome-schedule.sf.net *Get* blablabla *Screenshots* http://gnome-schedule.sf.net *Readme* http://cvs... *Changelog* http:/cvs... - gaute
Gnome-schedule 1.1 Gnome-schedule is a graphical configuration tool for crontab and at daemons, it is written in python and gtk. You can add reccurent task and task that will be executed only once. You can make templates for easy access to tasks you often use. The new version is using datafiles to save extended at and crontab data in the ~/.gnome/gnome-schedule/ folder. Like titles and icons for the task. The crontab parser is ported from vixie-cron. The new way of doing these things should fix quite some problems we had earlier with parsing, and many bugfixes has been applied.
