Description Christian Nolte 2005-12-06 10:12:40 UTC
Version details: 0.4.0, poppler 0.4.2 (cairo)
Distribution/Version: fedora core 4

I get completely white pages within evince when opening PDF 1.2 compliant
documents. Here are two examples:

http://citeseer.ist.psu.edu/cache/papers/cs/1386/ftp:zSzzSzwilma.cs.brown.eduzSzpubzSztechreportszSz93zSzcs93-36.pdf/mccluskey93feedforward.pdf
http://kluedo.ub.uni-kl.de/volltexte/2000/177/pdf/no_series_175.pdf

Opening these documents with kpdf or xpdf works.

I tested the mentioned pdf-files again and after waiting a long while they are
rendered, but not correctly. I have made a screenshot of the problem and
attached it.

As it seems my problem is related to BUG #170207

Thanks for reporting this Christian, it seems we still have problems with Type3 fonts. We should handle this problem closer.
