GNOME version: 2.11/2.12

Description Akos Ladanyi 2005-11-21 16:23:19 UTC
Version details: 2.12.1
Distribution/Version: Gentoo 2005.1

The problem is the following: when an icon appears in the notification area, and
its size is too small, then it expands itself. When the icon disappears, then it
shrinks to its original size. But when an icon appears and disappears almost
instantly then it does not shrink back to its original size.

This can be reproduced with epiphany by saving some very small file: in this
case the download manager's icon appears an disappears quite fast in the
notification area.

I've seen this too.
Comment 2 Vincent Untz 2006-08-10 22:42:15 UTC
I can't reproduce anymore, except for bug 331558. If you can still see this behavior with 2.14 (or even better, 2.15), I'd be interested to know. Thanks!

Me neither. I'm using Gnome 2.14.2.
