Distribution/Version: FC4 w/ Current Updates

Drag 'n' drop of a file works with the 'Desktop Background' preference tool, but
not a drag 'n' drop of a URI/URL. For ease of use and consistency with the Theme
Preferences tool, it would be nice to see this supported.

Bug 655375 added drag'n'drop back, and the new background code already supported remote URLs, as it uses GIO. It's fixed in GNOME 3.2!
