Description Jeff Schroeder 2005-10-08 21:18:57 UTC
Version details: 2.12.1
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy Badger 5.10

Right click on the panel --> Properties --> Background [X] Solid Color

Drag the transparency slider to 1/2 way and notice that everything on the panel
is transparent except for the notification area and the icons it contains. The
"handle" for the notification area should also be transparent and subdued
instead of grey.
Comment 1 David (djst) Tenser 2005-10-09 23:26:46 UTC
This makes the notification area look misplaced on a transparent panel. Every
applet should support transparency properly.
