Description Martin-Éric Racine 2005-10-02 11:57:20 UTC
Since GNOME 2.10, applets have the possibility of using a transparent background
for their icon on the GNOME Panel. Seahorse 0.7.9 doesn't appear to take
advantage of this possibility yet. Would it be possible to implement it? Thanks!

I think the notification applet is actually the culprit. I enabled the gaim
system tray icon and it showed up without a transparent background as well. I
searched for bugs involving the Notification Area Applet and found this
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100600. It's a known issue and
doesn't appear to be fixable. Take heart that all of the seahorse icons have
transparent backgrounds and when the notification applet is fixed it should just
work (TM).
