Subject: vFolders don't update when messages are changed

Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.12.0_pre8
Package: Evolution
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.2 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo
Synopsis: vFolders don't update when messages are changed
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
If I change a message in a vFolder so that it no longer matches the
search criteria of the vFolder, it remains in the vFolder.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a vFolder with a search criteria ( e.g. important messages )

2. In that vFolder, remove the important mark from a message
3.

Actual Results:
Message remains in the vFolder. Requires a restart of evolution to
update the state of the vFolder.

Expected Results:
The message should no longer show up in the vFolder if it no longer
matches the search criteria.

How often does this happen?
Every time

imagine you have a vfolder that includes messages that are unread. should they
disappear from the vfolder after three seconds just because they are marked as
read then (bug 261397)? it's mostly not useful to have that in my opinion.
bug 257582 would be great instead; normally it should also work to switch to a
normal folder and then back to the vfolder to get an updated view.

I too think bug_257582 would be sufficient.
