Description Gianluca Sforna 2005-07-22 08:24:08 UTC
Distribution/Version: Fedora Core 4

pdf documents containing png images with alpha channel are not rendered correctly.

To test this create a empty document (i used Openoffice) add a png image (of
course with alpha channel) and export the document to pdf.

Opening the pdf with evince you will see that the background is not visible
through th image.

I tested the same pdf with acrobat reader and the image is correctly displayed

As a test case, I am attaching a small pdf with two images. The first one has a
white background, while the second one a black one.

Evince shows both with a purple background.

Could be related to bug 311208?

 bug fixed. Thank You. http://live.gnome.org/Evince/PopplerBugs#poppler

It seems this is the same issue as:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3098

do I have to add you on the CC list for that bug (as of point 4)?
